Quiet cottage near the heart of Downtown Franklin, TN

Enjoy being surrounded by Harlinsdale Farm with trails, dog park, kayak launch and fishing pond! Walk to The Factory with eateries and shops as well as a Saturday morning Farmer's market. Spread a blanket on the park lawn and enjoy the sunset. Go for a morning run or cross the street to Five Daughter's bakery for world class cinnamon rolls. Enjoy a walking tour of Civil War History or local ghost lore! Ditch the car and catch the Trolley to explore all that our charming city has to offer. This home was built in the 1930's to house workers from The Factory which produced mattresses once upon a time! It is a charming cottage, 850 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The den has a sleeper sofa as well. Each room has a queen bed. The home is most comfortable for four guests but can sleep six in a pinch. There is also a pack-N-play available for guest use. The front and backyards border the park with openings in the fence for locals to access the park. Two parking spots are available as well. There is a keyless entry system with code. You also have access to a stack unit washer and dryer, Keurig, iron with tabletop ironing board, hair dryer, kitchen staples(cooking oil, salt, pepper, basic spices, sugar packets). Kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cookie sheets, cutting board, blender, microwave, toaster, hand mixer and utensils. Basic cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent also available. Two parking spaces are provided at the back entry to the home. There is a city trolly that picks up at The Factory by which you can travel around the city and to the Cool Springs Galleria. Downtown Franklin is less than a mile from this home and is walkable by sidewalk.

Perfect size home, in perfect location for downtown Franklin. Across the street from The Factory, short walk to downtown and the BEST of Franklin. Can't recommend this little place enough ! Enjoyed our four night stay - slept well in the comfortable bed! Enjoyed sitting on the stoop early morning, looking at the pasture. Appreciated the multiple heating and AC units so cottage stayed at our set comfortable temp. Washer and dryer a bonus with soap provided. Large TV in the living room that had good options. Short drive to Main Street with multiple restaurants and cute shops. Entire cottage was clean and smelled fresh. Although the shower is a little tight, the water pressure is awesome and plenty of towels provided

Great home in a great location
It was a perfect spot for our stay. The house is small and cozy but has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The location next to Harlinsdale walking horse farm is idyllic. Loved the proximity to town and the Factory. We walked in town for ice cream almost every night of our stay. We'd definitely love to return again.

We had a marvelous time. Our hosts take great care of their property and there were several thoughtful touches such as pleasant or not scented soaps, a filled Britta pitcher, etc. the chickens in the nearby yard were a nice surprise 😜

The property has all new appliances, tiled shower, large flat screen TV, comfortable bed and furniture, coffee/tea bar and a lovely location. We had some trouble working the keypad entrance ( operator error I would bet). They drove 15 min to the property to get us in. Easy to communicate and work with.

This property was perfect for our Annual iTrip Summit, a short term rental property management franchise meeting, which was held just around the corner at The Factory in Franklin. While the majority of our 90+ franchisees stayed in local hotels, I got very lucky and was able to book this property for our convention. The rates were well within our budget, and the property over performed. Very clean and simple and located in the middle of what seems to be an old horse farm, this home offers panoramic views in a peaceful setting, and located near everything you need in Cool Springs or historic downtown Franklin. Highly recommend! 5 Stars

Great cozy home!
Great cozy home that is perfectly near Nashville without being "in the middle of it all" which can be wonderful for family. Downtown Franklin is super near and adorable, the farmer's market and local food are a walkable distance, plus the park the home is next to is excellent for walks with family and exploring a creek. We would happily recommend this space to a family with young children.

So glad to get to give this review. My niece( lives in Franklin) sent this VRBO listing . The place was so clean, well stocked, WONDERFUL location. I would love to know more about its history. My guess is that it was probably housing for farm workers years ago for the big farm ( Tennessee walker horses). The inside was perfect- curious how new this has been renovated- looks brand new. When we return to Franklin we definitely want to stay here. Lovely place with a gorgeous backyard view!!!!!!

Cute, Clean, Convenient Cottage
This charming little place is in a prime location and was the perfect spot for my children and me to host a couple of local friends for an informal get-together while we were in town. Super clean, extremely comfortable, with all the necessities, including walking distance to the Franklin farmer's market (no small factor!). I slept great, which is saying a lot for a middle-aged mama of teens. The ONLY thing missing from this place is blackout shades in the bedrooms. Also, be advised that the property has an English cottage feel, complete with a low ceiling. This was not a problem for us, but would have been if my friend had brought her 6'6" husband. The host is very responsive and it was a fantastic weekend. I highly recommend!

Volleyball Tournament Weekend
In town for the weekend for a Volleyball Tournament with our daughter. Wonderful location and wonderful cottage for the weekend. Warm, comfortable, and inviting the moment we walked in the door. We could not have found a more peaceful location that was still within 5 -10 minutes of where we needed to be. If we come back to the area, will definitely look to stay here again.
