Property was under construction limiting our access to stairwell near our room. It resulted in having to park and carry bags further. Also the heat was noisy and didn't work. Shut it off and slept cold. The tub had paint drips and the sink counter was separated the porcelain. I choose the property because of the property name (we had good past experiences), rate and pet friendly. The last 2 points was the best thing about the room. The property offered continental breakfast (likely due to construction). It was meh. To end on positive note, the location was convenient.

The toilet was running I waited till I checked out for maintenance to come fix it. the remote control was not working. I again waited for maintenance but never showed to fix it. When I went down to the office in 15° weather to show the night clerk the red sugary drink that was on all the table/countertops. Also that there were no trash bags in the room anywhere. I was told I will leave a note for the manager, and maintenance is finishing up another problem, he should be done and with you soon. I checked in at 8:30pm, I called for maintenance at 9:05PM, by 1:00 a.m. I finally said F all this and fixed everything myself so I could go to sleep because I had to be to work for a 14-hour shift. At 830AM I went to the lobby to see the manager, so he could see the video and pictures, and express my severe discontent with the entire stay. The day shift clerk said oh he is out of town for 3 more weeks, I will have to leave him a note. All she claims to be able to do was tell housekeeping... EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND UNSATISFIED WITH THE ENTIRE STAY

Place was not as the pictures show. There was tons of construction , which I get, but it was constant into the night and back very early in the morning on a weekend. There was so much trash outside the rooms and the whole place looked like the picture that advertised was taken decades ago.

The property is being renovated so there wasn't much traffic or many guests. They put me in the very back of the hotel in an area with poor lightning and I was traveling alone with two small children. I noticed that they did not authorize the $50 hold but actually withdrew the money from my account and when I inquired about the return of my authorization hold, I was told it will take 10-14 days to return, I work as a front desk agent so I know 10-14 business days is exceedingly longer than average return time. The continental breakfast was below par,the best thing about it was apple juice and waffles. Need less to say, I will not book here again!

The worst Up keep for Cleanliness
Pictures were deceiving and the cleanliness was atrocious. The pillow cases were obviously still used from previous stay and crumpled, the doors on entrance, closet and bathroom had dirty fingerprints all over them, the chars and office chairs in the room were dirty and had questionable stains on them. Same with bathtub which still hard stains on it. The bathroom sink when turned on would leak water through the pipe hitting my feet. The ironing board had multiple dirty stains. The coffee machine with the coffee packet made really watery coffee and the breakfast offered, the fruit basket was half filled with spoiled fruit. I was supposed to stay from 5/13 thur 5/17, but I left on 5/14 when i got back from my meeting as I had no choice but still stay when i arrived late on 5/14. I cancelled the rest of my stay and went to a Hotel in Downtown Nashville.
