Conditions of property
Very disappointed, extremely dirty , multiple issues here - needs a thorough cleaning, kitchen is disgusting, in dire need of painting, walk in shower needs replacing, can barely close door and then you have to kick your way out, the door doesn’t fit right , a broken loveseat , back door is difficult to open , very musty smelling and stained towels

Awesome little house close to everything… but not too close.
We stayed at this property in July, 2023. Overall, a very positive experience with a great location, many conveniences and a terrific host. Positives Nice big property with a cute bridge and fire pit out back. Big multi-level deck for sitting when the humidity isn’t 95%. Bedrooms are nicely set up with large closets and comfortable beds. All bedrooms, kitchen, living room and dining room are all on the main level. No reason to go to the lower level unless doing laundry. Lots of towels. Within the Franklin city limits so lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. close by. Very close to I-65. Kitchen was nicely set up with all the utensils needed to prep your own food. Just bring the food and you’ll be all set. Host provided a nice selection of coffees and teas to get you started. Great communications and information and very simple check-out instructions. Negatives Not disabled friendly. Interior and exterior stairs can be a bit challenging for older folks. Bit of a musty smell, but being a little bit of an older home, not completely unexpected and the host was running a dehumidifier in the lower level to keep the humidity low. The A/C unit worked great. Very busy (McEwan) road next to a blind curve so left hand turns out of the driveway are not recommended. The host did warn us of this before we arrived. Summary Wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this location next time we’re in town. It really was a terrific place to stay and the price was reasonable for what we needed.

Disappointed.
Roof leak and hole in cealing caused a strong musty smell. Rodents in the lower level. Shower caulking is mold stained. Pillow cases too small to cover pillows. Fire place was not useable. This property has potential to be a great but currently needs maintenence. I rated poor for cleanliness due to rodent droppings in lower level. I rated accuracy of listing poor due to roof/ceiling/musty smell was not disclosed.

Nice clean country farm house. Close to shopping & services. We were visiting friends in the area, everything we wanted to do was more or less within a half hour drive. Really enjoyed staying there.

We loved our stay in this cozy farm-like house. The back yard is rustic and wonderful. The accommodations were adequate and very comfortable. The host was super easy to work with!
