Run down and dirty
Our stay at Aqua Blue was pretty disappointing.
We were booked in a room on the second floor that had a slider onto a balcony/roof deck. The key did not work so I left my boys and went back down to the lobby to get the key reset, which went well. The gal at the front desk was very nice. When I came back up, my boys had already gotten into the room. They had gone out onto the roof deck and been able to enter the room via the slider because the slider had no lock once we get in the room. We also noticed that the table in between the beds was falling off the wall, so I called down to the lobby and the girl at the front desk, said that she would work on getting us another room.
She got us into the room next-door, which had a lock on the slider and looked pretty nice. We came here for the pool. The pool was very cloudy. They ran the cleaner and we went back an hour later. It was less dirty. The pool temp was 99 and the hot tub was much cooler, probably like 85. We did not stay in long.
Our tub our bathroom didn’t drain and we had no cable box in our room so could not watch tv.
Pretty dirty and run down.
Only good thing is the location to Narragansett beach. But that’s not enough.
We did not stay the night. We left around 9:45 because we just were grossed out.
The gal at the front desk refunded the deposit to my car right away and mentioned maybe a partial refund. I reached out to them via email about it and did not hear back. I didn’t expect to.
