Welcome to Camp Resolute on Long Lake! As the name implies, we have our vision of the perfect Maine seasonal and rustic camp, and we are sticking with it! While others on the lake are building modern homes, we have carefully updated our kitchens and bathrooms while maintaining the original character of simpler times. This place is perfect for relaxation of the mind and spirit without having to drive to the Great North Woods! The camp is a walkable distance to the Naples Causeway and a convenient location for day trips to the N.H. White Mountains and coast.
This is what you get. A lodge, a cabin, a bunkhouse (originally an icehouse), a boathouse, a viewing deck, and two docks. One of the docks is a large, permanent dock that is configured around a boat slip for your boat up to 22 feet. In addition to the slip, there is an available mooring for moderate sized boats.
The property features 315 feet of private frontage with beautiful views up Long Lake. The lodge has a wraparound porch with lots of seating and sits only 60 feet from the water. There is a fire pit behind the boathouse and a propane fire pit on the viewing deck which is at the water’s edge.
At 16 beds with 5 of them in a sleeping loft, the camp is perfect for an extended family or could accommodate up to five couples with its 5 bedrooms of which 2 have attached bathrooms and the other 3 have bathrooms steps away. And there is still that sleeping loft!!!
Please remember that this is an old seasonal camp full of whimsy and charm, thus it is probably not for those who require a modern home. We want everyone to be happy at the lake!
Rentals are weekly Saturday at at 4:00 p.m. to Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

ENVIRONMENTAL NOTES:
We have been proud Environmental Lakes Association members for over 30 years. The following are some things about the camp that support the health of Long Lake.
1. Please note that there is not a dishwasher or garbage disposal in either the lodge or cabin. All the homes along the lake rely upon their own septic systems which do not like foreign objects – so PLEASE USE TOILET PAPER PROVIDED ONLY in the toilets. Do not flush paper towels or other manmade objects. Also, shorter showers and less laundry are appreciated by the lake!
2. We maintain a vegetative buffer in accordance with accepted lakeshore protection recommendations. Much of the waterfront still has trees and ferns with narrow walkways leading to the water, so please stay on the designated paths.
3. The winds (especially out of the north, can come suddenly, so be aware that any belongings on the docks or viewing deck can be swept into the lake! (Again, personal experience!) WHEN LEAVING THE DOCKS, STACK ALL PLASTIC LAWN CHAIRS FOR THE ABOVE REASONS. Beverage cans/bottles and trash from the dock should be put into the trash and recycling containers in the boathouse.
4. Finally, since the parking area is largely covered by a canopy of old growth pines, pitch can be a problem in very hot weather. We do supply two car covers! There is also some parking away from the trees.
5. If bringing a boat and trailer, please note that you will need to park the trailer on Route 302 by the green mobile home and garbage dumpster. The camp roads are tight making trailer maneuverability difficult and leaving insufficient space to bring the trailer down to the camp. Please notify us in advance if you intend to bring a boat and trailer.
PLEASE NOTE: Our pontoon will remain on a lift at the boathouse dock during your stay, but will not be used. It is simply too difficult to move the lift more than annually. You will have a boat slip and a mooring for your boats. The lift does not affect the dock space..
