A Gem!
Check-in was a breeze. Jackie and the rest of the staff were cheerful and professional. The complimentary breakfast offered healthy options. We love this place, in the heart of downtown Napa.

The hotel is a very welcoming place to stay. The staff is very helpful, accommodating, ready to answer any questions. Wonderful breakfast! Highly recommend staying here!

Staff are friendly and great, and location is convenient. Continental breakfast is a plus. However I was in a room on the bottom floor, and the bed/mattress was not comfortable and worn out. The blinds (which were providing privacy from the parking lot) were broken in some spots and not efficient in light reduction. Tended to overhear conversations and noise outside my room. Would return but would request a “quieter” room.

The property was great and central. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient, but it would be good to have more variety on different days. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

While the Inn is in a busy traffic area, once l entered the front door it was quiet and inviting. My room was quiet, clean and definitely didn’t have the sterile feel of chain motels. Driving to the heart of the downtown Napa shopping and dining area took about 2 minutes, likely walkable for someone more youthful than myself. Reception staff was wonderful and accommodating to my special needs. Two suggestions: providing a folding step stool in each room would be a great help for small people like me. Every place l stayed on this trip l had to figure out ways to get on to the tall beds. Not a pretty sight. And grab bars near bathtubs is critical for the safety of your guests. I hope to come back to the Elm House Inn for another stay and find grab bars in my bathroom. The breakfast was very nice and the room lovely. However, l would have liked staff to be more attentive to keeping the buffet stocked and letting every guest know about options not on the buffet bar. I didn’t know l could have an omelet until l overheard another guest request one. That being said, I will definitely stay here my next trip.
