Excellent stay

We only stayed one night, after arriving in Nairobi before heading on safari, but loved it, and would gladly stay again. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and comfortable, with polite and helpful staff, and good wifi. We also had dinner in the main restaurant which was excellent. If like us you just need a place for one night before heading out on safari, I would highly recommend here; travelling in to the main city from the airport can take 2 hours (or more if there are problems on the roads), which isn't worth it if you're travelling back out again. Staying here saved us so much time both on arrival, and then the next morning as we didn't need to drive back out of the city to head to Amboseli. If you have an early morning flight I would consider staying here the night before for the same reason. However, if you have regular business in Nairobi city itself this hotel will be too far out for you, with the awful traffic.

Staff were pleasant but needed more training. Shuttle bus to airport arrived thirty minutes after the time requested, staff could not produce taxi at that time and my grandson almost missed his plane back to school. Food in the restaurant was not good and took a very long time to arrive. As the main reason for my stay was to get my grandson to the airport for an early flight I found the service unacceptable.

Quality Hotel close proximity to the airport

Comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant i had the spaghetti carbonara very good. Allow time for your free airport transfer the morning traffic is very busy. This is a reasonable priced quality hotel close to the airport.
