For those who appreciate the more laid-back, quiet, lazy vacation days on the oceanfront in Nags Head, "Almost Home" is perfect! The private large sundeck is great for sunbathing, whale watching, morning coffee, afternoon lunches, or evening cocktails! Bring your family dog for long walks on the beach! Plan for the perfect relaxing vacation!

Conveniently located just a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and 2 great fishing piers that also offer wonderful restaurants and nightlife. This home is situated in the less commercialized area of South Nags Head. It is the perfect summer vacation spot for beach and sun lovers. Also ideal for Fall and Winter vacationers who love fishing, long brisk walks on the beach, and chilly days in front of the gas fireplace!

Ocean views can be enjoyed on both levels!
Level 2: The lower level has a den with a queen-sleep sofa and flat-screen TV, a bedroom with a queen, and 2 bedrooms with twins as well a full hallway bathroom. This level leads out to the large sundeck where you will also find the outside shower!

Level 3: Here you will find breathtaking ocean views from the great room with another flat screen TV, gas fireplace, kitchen and dining areas, and the queen master bedroom with TV!

Level 1: The laundry room is located on the ground level.

Perfect location and dog friendly
We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation in this dog friendly, beach front, with 2 decks home. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms were updated and there was a lot of room. We enjoyed our stay!

We never found the key for the washer dryer. There were ants in the kitchen and the soap holder in the upstairs bathroom is attached with tape.

Great place on the beach!!
Amazing location with a hot tub pretty much on the beach! Great layout , lots of space. Cleanliness was the only issue we had. LOTS of ants in the kitchen other than that you can't beat the price and location!

Horrible beach experience
During our stay we were kicked off the beach for a major construction project that the owner knew about but did not inform us of. We were blocked off from the beach and the work went on 24 hours a day, with heavy machinery right outside the house, constant alarms, lights and shaking of the house keeping us up. It was not good faith to not notify us of this major project beforehand. Further, the owner couldn't be bothered to get back to us or the real estate agent when I reached out. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Great week at the beach!
We had a great time with our family, our kids friends, and a friend and her child. Our family included our 12 year old fur baby and she enjoyed walks on the beach and all the new smells and neighborhood doggies. We loved the views and living space in the house and especially loved the hot tub/deck area.

LOCATION is everything!
This house is literally steps away from the beach with views that are hard to match. The house is in need of some TLC, but if you don’t mind some mild inconveniences associated with an older home (and the property maintenance company is responsive and professional), then this is a good place for your next vacation.

Great location, good house, a little dated
Great location right on the beach, you have to climb up a pretty big sand bank which might be difficult for people with mobility issues. Close to grocery, good restaurants, but at driving distance, would not recommend bring bikes. Loooong driveway for kids to play on. Good open floor plan for families, big couch, plenty of space for sleeping. The main problems were the couch smelled like B.O., and the deck is old with some nails popping out that cut one of the kid's feet. The outside shower is not great, so bring your own garden hose and sprayer. Overall good, pretty much what you expect for the price.

Our family had a wonderful time, nice location. The only concern we had was the back deck, (it had a loose board and some nails sticking up) but it seems that it is being fixed a little at a time. Wonderful view from top deck. Seen dolphins the first day.

We enjoyed our stay. The house needs work along with the lower deck. The air conditioner unit vents had moisture on them. The maintenance people did come to adjust the stove when asked All in all it was not a bad house.

Awesome place and amazing views
We had an awesome vacation staying here! This house was the closest to the ocean in our proximity (literally steps away) which made for amazing views, easy travel back and forth and an ability for the teens to come and go without any concerns! The upstairs kitchen, dining, living room and deck was so spacious and allowed for quality family time with plenty of room and once again AMAZING views! Would highly recommend anyone to use this property!!!

Lots of urine smell. Lower level toilet didn’t flush well. Shims were shoved under the toilet. Upper level tub backed up as did the kitchen sink. Lots of dog hair on the floor. Lower level bedroom window leaked when it rained. Needs an update. Great location but costly for what we got.

The property was clean and proximity to the beach was great! Unfortunately, the ice maker in the fridge didn't work. Plenty of cabinets but there wasn't much room for storing groceries, etc. Beds were very comfy. Had 1 problem with the TV in the upper level bedroom; called maintenance and they fixed it within 24 hours. It was nice to have a gas grill that worked!

Nice getaway
Very pleased with the home. Clean and well kept considering its age. Some welcome updates have been made, like the kitchen appliances. Other areas of the home show age, but have been cared for. We will definitely be coming back.

nice week at the beach
Four of us were very comfortable in the house. There has been some recent work on the top level and it looks like there is some more work planned to refresh the lower level deck. The kitchen is fairly well stocked (we cooked meals in all week) and has new countertops and the upper balcony has just been redone and is a great place to enjoy breakfast and gaze at the ocean in the morning. It was very convenient to just be able to walk out on the beach in a few steps. We would return to stay again.

Can’t beat being on the ocean.
Lovely home with a perfect ocean view and access. We were looking for the perfect social distancing vacation - walks on the beach and ease of access for delivery. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, but delivery options were abundant. Perfect location for day trips to lighthouses south of Nags Head. Not a criticism, but be prepared for a really long driveway. Great for basketball, skateboarding, and outdoor games.

Enjoyed the proximity to what turned out to be a near private beach. The house and all that it contains appears old and tired but is adequate for a week's stay.
