The pros are obvious - great view of the Himalayas, and all the rooms AC-ed that can also be used as heaters, which became necessary during my stay. The negatives are a little long, but not exclusive to this hotel and rather describes the service in Nepal generally - 1. rooms not as nice as the prices may indicate, also by no means dirty or inadequate 2. food prices do not include taxes, which seems to differ from item to item and you have no way of knowing how much it is until you pay at the end 3. wait staff straight-up forgot some of the things I ordered even though we were the only ones eating at this hotel during my stay

Gorgeous view from our room!!
We booked the deluxe room with mountain view and was greeted to a spectacular view in the morning! Staffs were so friendly and helpful, and the Nepali food for dinner and breakfast was very tasty! Thank you so much for a pleasent experience!!

Great View, but travel at your own risk
The road leading up to the hotel is literally not made. Even the taxi driver was hesitant and did not know about the hotel. Once you reach the hotel it has the most amazing view of the Himalayas, you can have a clear view of the mountains across the valley below. Apart from the outstanding view, the hotel has little else to offer, with the unmade roads we could not go out for a walk.

Very nice hotel,Excellent staff.Breathtaking Views of Himalayas and Mountain Peak but he weary fog and all of mother nature could avoid you from seeing it.Recomend two days to at least see it.Dissapointed what was on menu was not always available.The drive up is bad.

スタッフの対応が良かった。施設も思ってたより綺麗だった。朝食も美味しく頂けました。一点だけ残念だったのは、天気が快晴でなかったこと。これはホテルのせいではないけど。それでも部屋からはヒマラヤ山脈が見え贅沢な時間が過ごせました。

Fantastic views from my comfortable room
Everyone on the Himalayan Villa's staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Doormen, reception, restaurant servers... everyone. I was incredibly impressed. This is the best hotel I have stayed in in quite a while. The room was very cosy and nice. Of course, the view of the Himalayas from the balcony was excellent, especially during sunrise and sunset! Jeder Mitarbeiter der Himalayan Villa war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Türsteher, Empfang, Kellner... jeder. Ich war sehr beeindruckt. Dies ist das beste Hotel in dem ich seit langer Zeit war. Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und schön. Natürlich war der Ausblick vom Balkon auf die Himalayas ausgezeichnet, insbesondere während Sonnenauf- und untergang!

Séjour un peu étrange car seuls occupants de l’hôtel en période non touristique. Les équipes étaient malgré tous disponibles pour nos besoins. Bon accueil. Très belle vue sur la vallée et l'himalaya si les nuages ne sont pas là. Chambre équipée simplement. Pas de frigo et uniquement des chaines télé locales.Le concept de cabine douche toilette lavabo n'est pas le meilleur mais semble assez courant au Népal. Route d'accès au village un peu défoncé en attendant la fin des travaux en cours.
