Good near Nagano Station
Nice hotel close to Nagano station, friendly staff, clean room. Just the wifi was slow and there's no fan in the bathroom. But overall would stay again.

Property location very convenient, close to the JR station. The property itself is very dated, the rooms are very worn and uncomfortable. The room was uncomfortably hot, window doesn’t open unless you ask for a key from reception. WiFi didn’t work at all in the room, sockets weren’t strong enough to charge even a toothbrush! No ventilation at all, not even in the bathroom. Overall staff were friendly and the location is great. However the hotel itself needs updating.

Convenient hotel with slightly old facilities
Medium-sized hotel conveniently located near Nagano train station. Staff members were very hospitable. Room size was ok. The only downside was that the toilet facilities were a bit worn down and outdated. However, given the cheap price, it is overall a decent hotel.

Hotel Courtland is like a time machine. The room is very 1970s-ish. It's very aged, but comfortable and clean. My biggest complaint is that individual rooms don't have control of their AC. There were signs everywhere that, if you're hot, open your window. I'm sure in the summer this would change. Despite facing the train station, it was very quiet.

The convenience of being able to keep our bags at reception before and after check out was wonderful. The air conditioning was no operational and our room was so incredible hot even after keeping the window open. The beds were also extremely hard. Did not have a good night sleep at all. Wouldnt have booked the room know there was no A/C. I dont recommend for more than 1 nights stay

This hotel is great with spacious rooms and good service. It is located right next to the train station, although on the opposite side from most of the restaurants and tourist attractions so that will add 5 minutes to your walk most days.

Right across the street from JR Nagano station. It’s on the quieter side of the station, as the other side is more lively. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great for one-night stay!
