This Historic Riverside home, has been fully renovated, in keeping with a classic, coastal New England feel. The interior was designed and furnished by our staff. The antiques were meticulously renovated to enhance your Mystic experience. It is well equipped with modern amenities (Wi-Fi, Alexa/Sonos, etc.) and has a lovely tiny cottage with bunk beds, full bath, and river views. On a quiet street, steps from the Seaport, and a delightful 5 minute walk along the river, to the Downtown area.

This uniquely located historic house, designed, renovated, and furnished by our staff, has the best of both worlds: sunlit indoor room to spread out and breathe; to cook and commingle with family and friends, plus outdoor space for entertaining, reading, or just lying around. Situated on a quiet street, near the Seaport Museum, and steps from the Mystic River. You only need to walk about 5 minutes, along the most scenic river in CT, to arrive at the drawbridge, which is surrounded by some of the best restaurants and shops in New England. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you need, if you choose to dine in. In addition, we have items like, coffee, tea, creamer, and sugar. Plenty of condiments and basics. The main house has three bedrooms and a 2nd floor Full Bathroom. There are two second floor bedrooms, and a bedroom on the third floor. The second floor bedrooms have a queen bed and full size bed. The third floor bedroom has two single beds. Separate from the main house (by only a few steps), you can enjoy our lovely tiny cottage with a bunk bed (Full on bottom and Single on top), a Full bathroom, smart TV, and a river view. During warmer months, we have a private outside shower as well. The entire home has WI-FI. The family and dining rooms are spacious and cozy, and a great place to enjoy gathering with family and friends. We also have a great front porch with wonderful water views. During Summer, the back yard garden has outside furniture with a grill and a quaint deck.

Guests have access to the entire property, which includes the main house, with three bedrooms (two bedrooms on 2nd floor, one with a queen and one with a full size bed, and a bedroom on 3rd floor with two single beds). We also have an additional separate guest cottage onsite. The separate cottage, is the perfect place to put young lovers, introverted teenagers, or the in-laws. The cottage has a bunk bed and full bathroom. During the warmer months, we have a fully protected (and private) outside shower. It makes for a remarkably convenient addition to the already hearty house. Guests also have access to a great outside garden area with tables and BBQ grill. We also have bikes and Kayaks that are available to guests as well.

Our location is incredibly well-suited to the quintessential Mystic experience. The river is a few steps from our house and quite kayak friendly (yes, we have boats). The famed Mystic Seaport area is a 5 minute walk (right next door). They also have boats, as you probably know. Then there's the aquarium, the diner, and a handful of lesser known things to see, do, eat, and drink. We share detailed recommendations and favorite picks with guests upon booking.

We have parking for three cars in the driveway, plus on street availability. Getting around is easy, by foot, bike, kayak, car, or uber.

All bedrooms in main house are on 2nd and 3rd floors. There is one full bathroom in the main house located on the 2nd floor. The fourth bedroom, and second full bathroom are located in the cottage.

The cottage is also equipped with WI-FI and a Smart TV.

The main house has smart TVs. Additionally, we have an Amazon Alexa / Sonos. Stream your favorite shows or movies, or listen to your favorite music.

There an air mattress that can be set up anywhere.
We also have a Pack n Play and high chair.

There is one full bathroom on 2nd floor in main house, and one full bathroom in the cottage. We do have an outside shower for warmer months. Outside shower offers plenty of privacy.
The most important House Rule is, respect our neighbors and community. Mystic is a quaint, coastal New England town. As hosts, and guests, we share in the responsibility of keeping Mystic a great place to visit, and to LIVE. Honor the noise ordinance. Be the guest that you would want staying in a vacation rental near your home.

If you have chosen our home for a special occasion and plan on having a gathering with family & friends. Please respect our neighbors and our house. Our maximum guest policy is 9 adults. As a matter of local health, safety & parking guidelines, any prolonged gathering of more than 9 adults is prohibited unless approved PRIOR to booking. If you plan on being outdoors you must reduce volume after 9 PM.
We do allow small events, however, we expect our guests to be respectful of our neighbors. Please be mindful of the volume and timing of any events or gatherings. More importantly, enjoy yourselves and allow our neighbors to enjoy their time as well.

There is absolutely NO smoking inside the house.

While we welcome pets at all of our properties, we expect this amenity to be used responsibly. Please do NOT allow pets on furniture, especially beds. Also, do not allow pets to soil or stain carpets or floors.
