I like the garage parking and the hotel is very nice too. Nice pool with a water fall . Friendly parking attendants and baggage handlers. Over all I enjoyed the few days there .

This property is a solid choice for those looking for a beach get away , there are two pools with a beach side bar in between that has a nice pub menu . The beach is easily accessible for guest , we enjoyed sunrise walks in the morning and moonlighted beach combing at night . One of the best features of this property is that it has a sister property Embassy Suites , which had some great amenities that we took advantage of , for instance the “water park” pool area . Most Important to me personally was the fitness center that had a lap lane pool and first class exercise facilities . The one truly negative point I have is the lack of attention housekeeping had to the toiletries refill , we went without conditioner , body wash and lotion for portions of our stay .

Hopefully this review will save some of you from booking here. I’m not sure if it’s Expedia’s fault or Hiltons fault, but half the pictures you see posted aren’t even at this hotel. The water park, Black Drum Brewing, the beautiful fire pits and turf area - not located here! You have to take a 7-8 minute walk to get to the sister hotel (Embassy Suites by Hilton) to get to this stuff! Very deceitful advertising. This hotel has some years on it and offers two decent pools and a couple restaurants, but there’s a lot of wear and tear. Now for everything else: check in wasn’t pleasant as the front desk attendant didn’t greet us, say hello, welcome us, smile, nothing. More poor staff interactions occurred at the outdoor restaurant where my wife and 9 year olds were told it was illegal to play UNO and had to leave. Really?! Once we made it to the water park, we spent 4 hours trying to find chairs because there was nowhere to sit, so we used cabana chairs which costs a fortune to rent and only a third were in use. Not long after, the pool manager asked us to move and offered no solution for having no chairs available. He had no reply when I asked him where my family should sit. Just “sorry.” Food and drink from Black Drum were solid, however, we didn’t catch on that gratuity was already included until a couple days in and of course no one told us. Lastly, the blood we found on our comforter was just the icing on the cake! Book elsewhere. Much better options in Myrtle.

Loved the location, pool, the beach, and pool bar. It’s tough for me to review since our trip ended short due to storm. Honestly would go back except a metal vent in our room fell hitting my wife. Luckily she wasn’t badly hurt but required ice and she had a bruise. We don’t complain but just wanted it fixed. They said right away but took two days and we needed to mention it twice. I thought it was poorly handled. For Hilton this is surprising.

This was a total disappointment. Property was dirty. Pool area had hair, used Band-Aids and just in general dirty. Service was terrible. Staff was grouchy and unfriendly. I also ordered room service (one pizza) for my kids and it never came. We waited two hours before we went to sleep hungry.

When I booked the property, I booked a Ocean front room, when we arrived they gave us a room With an obstructed view. They stated that they had ocean view for an additional 40 dollars, which at this point has dropped 270 for the room And an additional 60 in parking and resort fee. Not amazing customer service. Then checkout is at 11am we had cleaning staff knocking at 10:32 asking when we were checking out. Just some things to consider.

Great stay - few issues
Property and staff were so friendly. Check in went very smoothly. The rooms were beautiful comfortable. I got a room upgrade for no charge. Two downsides I called earlier in the week for a late check out and they said yes when I got here they were unable to honor it. We leave later in the day so if we want to swim we will have to travel around in a bathing suit. The shuttle service is great addition, but waiting for the shuttle sometimes takes upwards of 30 mins. I was on the phone line for 10 mins on hold before we got ended up just walking back to the hotel from a restaurant on property.
