Our overall stay was ok. The room had an odor of mildew and the sheets has little stains and what appeared to be a burn mark. It could've been cleaner.

We have stayed at this Travelodge when we were in the area for special events. The staff has always been great and the rooms clean and in working order. It is very convenient to dining and to Meijer, Walmart and beaches in the area.

This hotel is in a part of town surrounded by condemned and empty buildings and poorly maintained roads. We encountered several people coming out of the bushes around this building, one of which appeared to be a sex worker with a client. When we checked in and then decided we did not feel safe, the staff at the front desk would not refund us our money and said that even though the area might not be safe, the hotel was. We did not end up staying the night here and would not recommend it to others.
