If you're looking for a nicely updated, pet friendly vacation rental, look no further! Check out this 2nd floor, 1-bedroom suite located just a block away from the Garden City Pier in Garden City Beach, SC. This 1-bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment is fully furnished with 1 king bed, dresser and closets for storage, dining table and chairs, Smart TVs, free wifi, private bathroom with shower and vanity, full size fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen sink, and more! The space is perfect for couples, friends, or a family getaway! Aside from the beautiful updates, our guests will certainly enjoy the proximity to the beach, Garden City Pier, bars, restaurants, and so much more. As of Winter 2022, this condo features some really nice updates! Recent updates include new LVP flooring, new furniture, new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, new appliances, new microwave, new kitchen backsplash, custom tiled shower, new bathroom vanity, fresh paint, and more!

Guests will enter the apartment on the second floor; just a few stairs up to the unit. Upon entering, guests will enter into the kitchen and dining area. The full size kitchen features all new, full size appliances that include a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, toaster, and kitchen sink. We provide all basic cookware and kitchenware, and everything you need to prepare a snack or small meal will be stocked in the cabinets for you! For guests who prefer to dine out, Garden City has hundreds of incredible dining options within a short drive or Uber. Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, and Grubhub have become very popular and convenient options as well. Moving through the apartment, the living area is found at the back of the apartment. The living room features a queen sleeper sofa, accent chair, modern decor, window with natural light, TV, and more. In between the kitchen and the living room, and centrally located in the apartment, guests will find a newly updated, full-size bathroom. The bathroom has been completely renovated as of Winter 2022 and features a vanity with sink, oversized mirror, toilet, custom tiled shower, and more. The bedroom is located on the second floor inside the apartment. The bedroom area is extremely spacious and offers a king bed, night stands, TV, dresser, overhead light and fan, and closet for storage.

Have a fur baby? Yes, they are welcome too! Our guests are able to bring up to 2 pets (dog or cat) with a $100 paid pet fee. To keep this rental maintained as good as possible, we do ask that pets not be allowed on the sofa or living room furniture. In addition, when guests leave, we do ask that the pets be crated until their owners return. This is important not only for the care of the property, but also for vendors, pest control, maintenance, and housekeeping personnel who may need to enter the property. Vendors may not be able to provide necessary services if pets are not crated, and we appreciate your understanding!

Be sure to pack light! All towels, toiletries, bedding, and linens are provided. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. We also provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths in the bathroom.

Guests will be charged a small cleaning fee, and the departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and bedding. We truly want to make your experience with us as affordable as possible! If desired, we can accommodate daily housekeeping or mid staying cleaning requests for a small fee. Just let us know what you need and we'll be happy to work with you!

Guests should be advised that this is a non-smoking rental. Smoking is prohibited in the condo. Should any smoking occur, the full amount of the security deposit will be retained and other charges may be applied. We believe in full transparency, and it's important that we are clear on what guests should expect when booking this property. Inside the apartment, many updates have been made, and many areas of the rental are truly special. As with all rentals, cosmetic wear and tear is to be expected. Parking is first-come, first-serve, and there are several open spaces around the complex. Parking spaces may or may not be immediately available, and guests may have to park at open spaces around the complex. This is a very tropical and sandy area. We will do our absolute best to make sure the floors are swept and mopped prior to your arrival.

Was close to beach and Garden City pier which is why I was there. Condo itself was good- surface cleaned only, but ok- had everything needed for a good stay. However, previous reviews mentioned 'a quiet little bar downstairs'. Not true- not quiet- it's a dive bar w drunk and loud people fighting out in the street. We had fireworks directly outside our window at 2am- then loud arguing followed by the trash pick up at 0400. No one had any sleep that night. And I have slept through sonic booms before!

Decent value for the cost
The furnishings could've been a little more updated. Appearance of cleanliness with the exception of under the bed and large furniture. The location was great, there's a small bar downstairs which I assume are for locals which appeared to be a friendly crowd and we were not disturbed by the noise. Very nice location which was walking distance to the pier, beach, grocery and other attractions. +/-, Emergency/Fire/Rescue services are adjacent to the property, and they stay pretty busy during the prime season so be prepared for blaring sirens quite often. That being said, I'd stay there again.

Great potential but needs deep cleaned.
The location was perfect and the unit has so much potential to be great. It needed some updating. That's okay. However, the unit was not even close to clean. I would not have stayed if I could have afforded to book elsewhere. When I pay a cleaning fee, I expect the unit to at least be clean. There was dirt on the floor; dust on the ceiling from the vents; the glass top stove needed to be scrubbed; dirty washcloth left over from previous tenants; cabinet interiors were dirty. The sheets on the bed seemed clean but the bed spread was stained and I took it off the bed and used my own blankets. Disappointing because I would like to stay again but will absolutely not do so.

Wonderful for the reason of staying ..
Love the location and very cute unit , but bedding needs updated and pillows down stairs also.. stains .. beach sand all over the floors and in the bed .. (didn’t go on the beach) a wash cloth was left on the shower that I didn’t want to touch .. lol , but other than that I would stay again..

The condo was clean, could use a little loving but it's not bad. A little difficult to reach the outlets with some of the appliances. We purchased and left an extension cord. There was very little noise from the bar below. It was Harley week ?? Nice but loud. The only change I'd ask for is the appearance of the area at the bottom of the steps where you go upstairs. The bar clients had left a lot of trash and bottles and broken glass. Bed was comfortable as were the couches. It was nice having extra rooms.
