Very clean unit, warm welcoming staff, highly recommended. After a long day driving it was so nice to be so warmly welcomed by the beautiful office assistant Winnie. Sometimes it’s just those little extras that make the stay that much more enjoyable- thank you Winnie!

Check in was smooth and I was offered a complimentary bottle of fresh milk for making tea in my room - that was a lovely touch! A great, well-run motel with excellent facilities. The only downside is that the mattress was rock hard and I didn’t get much sleep because of that - otherwise the Oval Motel Is great!

Very central to the main part of town while still in a quiet area away from traffic which also made parking feel safe as well! Will definitely stay there again when we go that way next!

I’ve stayed at this venue half a dozen times over the last couple of years & have always enjoyed the stay. However, I am now disappointed with the property. Reception answered my phone enquiry with “hello” & I had to ask if this was the Oval Motel? - not professional service. The receptionist is a VERY heavy smoker & this was very evident when signing in. Finally, the linen in my Studio had the faint smell of cigarette smoke, potentially from a smoker having handled the linen - very disappointing. I’m sorry to say I probably won’t stay again.
