Murau offers a delightful experience in every season, maintaining its authentic Styrian charm without being overwhelmed by tourists. For winter sports enthusiasts, the Kreischberg ski area, just a 5-minute drive away, provides 42 km of slopes at an altitude of 2100 m. This family-friendly ski area caters to both seasoned and novice winter sports enthusiasts. Nearby, you'll find other excellent ski destinations like Obertauern, Turracher Höhe, Katschberg, and Lachtal.

In the summer, Murau transforms into an idyllic retreat. The chalet, positioned to the south, is a haven for sun-seekers. Adventurous vacationers can explore scenic biking trails, hiking routes, mountain climbs, or engage in thrilling rafting on the Mur River. For less risky sports, there's a tennis court next to the park, and a splendid 18-hole golf course is just 5 km away. In essence, boredom is never on the agenda.

The chalet, accommodating 9 people (8 adults) with four bedrooms, two of which are interconnected, offers two bathrooms with wellness showers. One bathroom boasts a jacuzzi and infrared sauna cabin. A fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with a splendid panoramic view, and two parking spaces add to the charm.

Included in the rent are gas/electricity, water, bed linen, cleaning and WiFi. Separate payments at the location include a tourist tax of €2.5 per person per night (applicable from 15 years old) and a deposit of €350, refundable after check-out.

Optional services include a bakery service for daily fresh bread delivery and a baby bed available for €15 per stay.

War super schön,gute Lage, gut ausgestattete Küche... Check in war einfach,aber leider war die Kasse schon zu,so dass wir am nächsten Tag nochmals wegen der Kaution hin mussten,obwohl wir die Zeit 19.00-20.00 angegeben hatten.

Super Haus, nur Mini Abzüge
Wir waren für ein langes Wochenende in der Unterkunft. Das hast ist super ausgestattet, sauber und modern, aber dennoch passend zur idyllischen Landschaft. 2 Mini Kritikpunkte sind zum einen das einchecken in der Rezeption, was an sich perfekt geklappt hat aber leider etwas vom Haus entfernt ist und das fehlen von Toilettenpapier und Spültüchern im Haus. Wie gesagt meckern auf sehr hohem Niveau und daher auch trotzdem 5 Sterne!
