Very close to the city center. They did not allow early check in, completely understood and worth it! You'll be occupied with site seeing! I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

My room was comfortable, my friend was not happy with the bed which was hard and uncomfortable. The location is outstanding and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice city, easy to get around.
The hotel was close to the underground and to the Christmas Market and the Glockenspiel. It was easy to get around the city with public transportation. We were walking distance to the train station. The hotel left something to be desired. The shower has mildew, the lift went out the first night and we were on the 5th floor, the staff didn’t offer any compensation, the toilet wouldn’t flush anything more than liquids and toilet paper. The bed was uncomfortable and the entire motel smelled of sewer gas.

The location of the hotel is ideal; however, there is a significant issue with noise and disturbances at night. On the backside of the hotel, a group frequently gathers, often for extended hours. Their activities include loud conversations, smoking, and skateboarding, which create a considerable amount of noise. If your room is located on that side of the hotel, it can make it extremely difficult to get a good night's sleep. This issue detracts from an otherwise pleasant stay.

Comfortable beds. Walkable from the Hauptbahnhof. Very central. Excellent location for Marienplatz, shopping, the Christmas markets and trams. Very acceptable Italian Restaurant next door.

Worth the trip!
Great stay with the host being super friendly and accommodating for our puppy. The one downfall was we wanted a balcony view and when we arrived, the exterior was under construction with scaffolding covering our view.

I was very satisfied with the Hotel Daniel for the six days I stayed there. It had a great location 100 feet from the escalator down into the Stachus (Karlsplatz) where one can catch a tram or subway anywhere in the city. (It is huge and thus confusing, so you have to pay close attention to the exit you want. For this hotel you want exit D. It is next to Dunkin’ Donut and across from Mr Box Tea.) The only drawbacks: the shower allowed water to flood the bathroom (but it was otherwise a great shower—good water pressure and plenty of hot water) and breakfast was below average compared similar 3* restaurants across Europe. For example, scrambled eggs cost an extra 4 euros. But that would not stop me from staying there again. (My only bad experience: l left my key in my room one day but I didn‘t realize I had not pocketed the key until I arrived at back at the hotel at 11:30pm). But the front desk had closed at 11pm (as I knew it would). Another guest let me into the building but I could not get into my room. As the desk clerk told me the next day, I could and should have called the “Emergency” number but I didn’t think I was an “emergency” so I spent several hours in the Burger King across the street until it closed at 5am, and then I rode the subway until the desk clerk called me at 6:45am. But that was all my fault, and I should have called the “Emergency” number at 11:30.

The hotel is close to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz and the Rathaus. However, i had an issue with my keycard during my stay and there is no night reception so i was locked out of the hotel. I was forced to get another hotel for the night which was very disappointing. Also the hotel is above a club so on Saturday nights your room will smell of cigarettes from the club goers. Also the hotel seems dated and smells like an nursing home and the bathroom fixtures were falling apart. Overall the experience was pretty bad. I would not recommend staying here again.

This hotel is not ritzy and basically a hole in the wall, but it's clean and it's walking distance to many of the top attractions, including The Marienplatz, The Residenze, and The Hofbrau Haus. It's also walking distance from the train stop, which you'll want to take the train from the airport because the airport is far from the city center. Also, this hotel likes to keep the windows open, so make sure you close the windows to avoid noise from outside and weather you may not like.
