An unbeatable stay
We ve recently returned from a two week stay in Tullyally. If only it could have been longer! The house was warm, spacious and inviting. When there was just two of us there it felt cosy. When two other couples joined us there was plenty of choice re bedrooms and great communal areas. There were plenty of places to sit, talk and enjoy the sensational views over the Foyle. The kitchen and laundry room were well equipped. Towels and bed linen supplied. Sharon, the owner, welcomed us at the start of our stay and waved us off at the end. She was near to hand if needed. We met her in town one day and mentioned to her that I was looking for a vase. She told me not to bother because she had some at her house, When we returned “ home “ a while later two beautiful vases were outside the front door. I cannot praise her enough. The house itself is beautifully situated with the most astounding views. Sitting looking out of the windows was sheer therapy. We had made a few wrong turns trying to find it on first arriving but in fact it was incredibly straightforward. I would say that a car is necessary if you are going to make the most of your visit. The area offers stunning scenery, wonderful beaches, ancient monuments and great eating places. The Moville area of Inishowen has been my home from home all my life ( I m retired so we are talking quite a few decades). I hope that this particular house and owner will be part of my future visits.Thank you. Ps Sorry if this review sound a bit OTT but we had such a great time!
