All staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is clean and aside from a distant train whistle and our neighbours getting up in the morning, it was quite quiet. The breakfast pleased the two children as they sampled foods they did not usually get, such as the marshmallow cereal and waffles but the other options were many, and catered to most diets. The food area was kept tidy and full. The kids also really enjoyed the pool, well stocked with towels. It is a well kept hotel.

One big problem. Our toilet was plugged. It was a Saturday night and no maintenance was available. We had to walk down to the office twice to get a descent plunger and we had to to go potty only and put our to in a bag so we could stay there because it was fully. They made us both try to get it unplugged.. it was a nightmare. Walking from the farthest room out to the desk and after the fiasco and inability to have a bowel movement in the privacy of our room, they didn’t offer us any compensation for the terrible inconvenience it caused us! We were very disappointed to pay $240 for a non-functioning toilet.

The hotel does room housekeeping every 3 days. I informed the front of a flikering light in the bathroom but nothing was done. We had insects in the room.
