Little Whio by the Lake

Our Little Whio Bach was build in 2022 and is a place where we unwind and reconnect with each other as a family. We want to share our experience in Motuoapa with others. Get away from the busy life and spend time together and in nature.

Little Whio has an open living area with a modern kitchen and dining space which makes this space a great way to be with family/friends. The Bach has a laundry area, two bathrooms and three bedrooms. Two rooms have a Queen size bed and internal wardrobe. One of the Queen bedrooms comes with an ensuite. The third bedroom has a bunk bed and a daybed. Great for the kids. The day bed has a trundler underneath.( For that extra friend that likes to tag along)
  • The vacation home offers a kitchen, a washing machine, and 1.5 bathrooms
  • Onsite recreation includes tennis courts and a playground
  • 5 minutes by car from Lake Taupo and 11 minutes from Turangi i-SITE Visitor Centre

Great location, lovely home
Great little property in an excellent location, just a few minutes from the marina.Easy boat and multiple-car parking.We had a few Wi-Fi issues that were quickly resolved by the owner, though I believe fibre is going in soon, so might not be an issue.

Highly recommended
Beautiful home, modern, clean and super tidy with everything you need. Great location. Handy to the lake for a swim, New World in Tūrangi or the Licorice Cafe 2 mins away. Also wonderful that we could have brought our dog. We didn’t on this trip but would on another. However a note for dog owners is that the property isn’t fully fenced if that’s a consideration for you.Would highly recommend. We’d definitely stay here again. Thank you Elise for making it all so easy.

A nice place to unwind
Great size and location and loved the modernness of the property. Appreciated the quick response when tv lost connection too. A lovely place to unwind and take in the surroundings.
