A pleasant stay in Mosier
Mosier, OR, is not a big place, but it is in the Columbia gorge, which has hundreds of trails to hike, bike, etc. This cabin puts you right there, within a short distance to any number of outdoorsy things. Then you can come back at the end of the day and relax in the cozy cabin. I stayed in October, which was perfect for hiking. The cabin's proximity to local Mosier businesses is also good. Obviously you need to get your daily coffee from Randonee Coffee, which is literally a few steps away. Mosier Company is also just a short walk away, and has local beers on tap and reasonably good food.
