Quick stop in Morgan Hill
Booked the Queen Suite and appreciated the extra space to stretch out. This is *not* a new hotel so needs a few updates to furnishings and common spaces but we knew that going in so no issue. Breakfast was adequate but the only hot food was pre-packaged goods to be microwaved. Helpful and courteous front desk staff!

Small room but comfortable. Tub was a bit dirty. The reception desk is extremely friendly and helpful. The highway noise is very audible. Guests who need quietness to sleep may find it difficult.

Room had no hand soap in the bathroom. They did not have any at the front desk. Overhead light kept going on and off. Asked to change to another room and the front desk person wanted to make sure that was indeed the case. she left the room without saying anything. I went down to the front desk to get another key and the front desk person kept leaving and going upstairs asking me to stay by the front desk. After several trips up and down, she finally came down and change the room. I have used this hotel many times but after this experience, this was my last stay.

The hotel is old and in need of updates big time. The only rooms with refrigerators are suites. We were upgraded to one do to meds that need refrigeration. But the carpet had a large hole in it from scrubbing something out of it. Which also showed the true color of the carpet. The freezer in the frig was so froze over we couldnt even fit and icepack. The rooms are very small unless you have a suite. It needs a lot if updating in the rooms.

The two lady receptionists, were very kind, friendly, helpful. The place in general is nice; nothing outstanding, but the basics are covered and are good. I have two objections, though. One is regarding the pillows. I don't know how old or how chip they are, but they are sacks of lumps. I never seen anything like it. Also, the bath tub looked terrible. My guess is that it had not been cleaned properly when it needed to be.
