Don’t forget to check out the Eric Morecambe Statue (500 metres), the town’s beloved landmark, before venturing into town to find a restaurant or pub. You’re close to Morecambe train station (0.5 miles), which connects you to Lancaster (4 miles) and Carnforth (6 miles). Explore hiking adventures, including Clougha Pike (9.5 miles) and Grit Fell (11 miles), both in the mighty Forest of Bowland, or discover the western side of the Yorkshire Dales National Park a little further afield (16 miles). For more seaside fun, take a day trip to invigorating Blackpool (26 miles) to visit the zoo, Blackpool Tower, and the famed Pleasure Beach.
