This hotel is grim. I booked a room for my friend and I and her little dog and requested a pet friendly room on the main floor. Oh my God. The carpets were filthy and stained, wallpaper peeling, stained grout in the bathroom. We were glad that we had showered before leaving home because nope. The check in staff were kind and accommodating, delivering a microwave to the room immediately and there was a spotless new fridge in our room. It was very quiet at night and the bedding was clean. This poor old place is a bit desperate though and long overdue for a facelift. We didn’t go to the included breakfast.

Room 110 was disappointing. The bathroom tiles were coming up from the floor under the bathroom sink. The sofa was filthy and worn and we had to ask for a cover before we could sit on it. The furnishings looked like they had come from someone's basement and acquired at a garage sale. We stayed at a lot of Day's Inns on this cross country trip and while varying quality was noticed, this was by far the worst room we had this entire trip. No issues with staff (all very nice and attentive) but glad we were there for one night as we passed through. Wouldn't stay there again.

We had a great time here. The kids loved the pool. The staff went above and beyond. My daughter slipped by the hot tub pretty bad and the staff were great at getting an ice pack for us and even asking about her the next morning! The breakfast was the best we have seen so far. Great friendly staff there too. Room as a great size, comfy sleep
