Goulding's Lodge

"Our stay was exceptional. This hotel is a great alternative to ‘The View’ which is also excellent but much pricier. The facility has a great view, the rooms are clean and the service exceptional. We had a basic room which had a Keurig type coffee maker and so I had the first real coffee during this trip in the USA. The beds were comfortable. Although in a remote location, the hotel restaurant prices were reasonable and the portions ample. The icing on the cake was when we discovered we had a flat tire on our rental car which required a tire change. As we were surveying the car one of the hotel maintenance workers came up, and without asking, two hotel workers changed the tire for us ‘as part of their job’. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. "
