As I enter the property to check in I can smell cigarette. On the way to our room "209", the cigarette smell is so strong through the hallway. My wife has allergy with cigarette smoke so that's even worse. The food left in the fridge from previous guests (2 plates of cake?) is so disgusting. Toilet paper is wet I have to tear off to get to the "dry" part. Clearly, they didn't clean properly the room for the next guests. Terrible experience!

The fireplace didnt work and the staff faked that they didnt know. It obviously hasnt work in a long time. They said they would call us back but then there wasnt any phone in the room and when I told them, they said that someone probably took it. Who steal house phones? Come on... The fridge leaked water the whole stay, had a pond in the corridor. The tv worked but the LEDs are totally burned out so there was 12 white spots on the screen, visible 100%, making us watch a movie not enjoyable at all. AGAIN, staff played that they didnt know of the tv, the phone, the fridge or the fireplace. So basically, they are saying that they never check their rooms in months... that says it all. Other than that, bed was comfy, area was fine, check-in and check-out ok.

Le Chabrol is good value for the traveller staying for a few nights in west-end Montreal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There's parking if you drive. The STM #90 bus passes by and offers good service east and west. The staff speak both languages. I was happy with my two nights at Le Chabrol.

Everything was ok. Except...
Everything was fine except they started to clean my room before I checked out which left me in the breakfast room until it was time to go catch my flight. Which is is kind of weird because you have to check out there, they don't give out key cards. They should of known I had not left.

Nice hotel with superb staff outside downtown Montreal. Has many parking spots on site. The staff was helpful to come back to my room to return my power bank which I left it at the reception. The room is modern and well equipped with heating and air conditioning. They also have a complimentary breakfast on site!

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The room was quiet and clean. The property is close to the highway. However, the property could use some updates such as carpets and furniture. The breakfast choices were minimal.

Le Chabrol is the perfect place if you don’t want an expensive hotel. The staff is great, the room is really good, and it’s so clean. You don’t need to walk anywhere; the bus stop is in front, and the grocery store is as well.

The room was great, if you want to stay in a sex hotel! Once into my room, it was nice. The hallways smelled of cigarettes and there were people checking into the hotel by the hour! It was convenient to Concordia, which is the only reason I was there. The staff is fantastic and very helpful.

Great Value comfortable stay
Very comfortable motor Inn at a very reasoable price. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Close to the highway but quiet.simple breakfast is incuded.
