This is my go to hotel in Montreal. Best rooftop pool an hot tub plus sauna. It's the best to swim there when it is bitter cold, it's well heated . The ducks living up there are a bonus, gardens in a canal setting in wRm

I stayed at this beautiful property from 12/15/2024 to 12/21/2024. It was my second time there, and will hopefully not be my last. However, my experience this time, was not the same five star experience that I had the time prior. The hotel aesthetics, amenities, and overall cleanliness were still quite exceptional. I unfortunately had a horrible dining experience on Wednesday 12/18/2024, at their main restaurant "Le Kube." Upon my arrival, I was told that I could seat myself anywhere in the restaurant, as I was dining alone. My server for the evening ISMAEL, then approached my table shortly thereafter. I put a drink order in, as I was still undecided on dinner. He promptly brought my drink out to me, then COMPLETELY ignored me for the rest of the evening. I literally watched him bypass me for almost an hour, as he was tending to other tables, and being hospitable. I finally had to flag him down, and ask that he take my order. He replied with a very snark "what do you need?!". When I put my dinner order in, his response was "yeah ok." This was completely unacceptable, and I requested to speak with the manager Chloe, who came out immediately and listened to my concern. She was the utmost professional, and assured me that she would personally address ISMAEL, and even offered a free dessert as a courtesy, which I graciously accepted. This server needs SEVERE retraining in customer service, and hospitality, due to his poor people skills, and VERY unwelcoming disposition.

It's a nice place with amazing staff and service. But the privacy of our room was not great due to the window staring right into the outdoor pool. The room is nice but a bit rough around the edges for the price we paid. Some door trims are falling off or damaged for example.

Absolutely loved it. The hotel seems aged but the rooms and communal areas were nicely decorated. The staff were amazing and really made the place what it is. I was really sad to leave. Only wish was that I could stay longer
