The property is everything we expected. Beautiful. We paid a lot of money for this stay, we came all the way here to celebrate our anniversary, they gave us a room overlooking a wall of an adjacent building. We could not see the sky or any streets or anything from our window. Even the hotel had plenty of rooms available, many of which overlooked the vibrant city. I complained and they told me I had to pay extra to be moved, even our rate was pretty expensive to start with. I wanted a couple of days then submitted to the price increase and moved to a better room Needless to say I’m not happy with the way some of the staff treated us

It was my first time staying at Hotel Birks Montreal. The hotel is in the best location - convenient to all major sites. It's a beautiful hotel with staff that are very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again!

Most aspects of this hotel were superb, staff at reception, at the door and in the restaurant could not be faulted, just had a couple of minor niggles with cleaning, the availability of decaff coffee, English tea and decent sized cups to drink from. Overall however a perfect location for exploring Montreal, room was big and lovely high ceilings, a classy hotel and would definitely use it again if back in the city.
