Decent, solid, clean and quiet

We stayed for just one night en route to Toronto. We've stayed in MTL many times, usually at another downtown hotel (which was booked on this occasion.) The Hilton was clean and the parking was convenient. Front desk service was friendly and helpful. My only dissatisfaction is that the lighting in our room was poor. Such light as there was was either cold and white, or "gold" and inadequate for reading.

They had no tooth brushes. A 4-star hotel not providing toothbrushes and not even having them for sale is not a good look. Also at checkout we found out they had slippers which should’ve been in the room in the first place. Overall not a bad place to stay but for a Hilton hotel the standards are pretty low.

Watch out for your snacks!!!

After our first night there we came back to our room and whoever did the cleaning threw away all of the snacks (30 US dollars worth of snacks) that I had brought on our trip for our kids. I was furious because it was nowhere near the trash, was not marked as trash and it was clearly in a brown shopping bag which was filled to the top with snacks that you could clearly see had not even been opened. The following day when we actually needed them to throw away the trash that was in the trash and clearly looked like trash they didn’t. It was just left in the room. Hence why it will be a one timer for us!

Property is great! Staff is friendly, rooms are big and clean. Only one issue, the sauna is so dirty and the hot tub is cold. Otherwise loved the hotel. Parkigg no is expensive but price of hotel and location made up for that.
