Near Amboise and Chenonceau, on the edge of a wine-growing hamlet and along the "La Loire à vélo" cycle path, the gîte "Chez Lucie en Touraine" welcomes you with views of the vineyards. We are in the commune of Montlouis-sur-Loire (wine A. O.C), in the hamlet of Husseau.

Located on the ground floor of our house, your apartment with terrace and garden includes:
- An independent entrance
- A large living-dining room (about 50 m², with a fireplace)
- A fitted and equipped kitchen (13 m²)
- 3 rooms :
• 1 bed of 160 by 200
• 1 bed of 140 by 190
• 4 beds of 90 by 190, bunk 2 to 2
- A large bathroom (bath + shower)
- A toilet
Bikes available, subject to conditions.
On request: cot, potty, stroller and small paddling pool.

We live upstairs (we are a family of 4), only our kitchen is on the ground floor, adjoining yours. There is no communication between your apartment and ours, you are independent. We are committed to respecting your privacy, while remaining available if you have questions about the region or to chat.

The 2600 m² enclosed garden is shared. Your space of over 500 m², not overlooked, is located to the east of the house. We use the part on the other side of the house, to the west. You have deckchairs, a parasol and a barbecue. Your children can enjoy the swings, the slide and the trampoline. The latter, in the northwest, is shared with our children 7 and 10 years old.

The castles of Amboise and Chenonceau are 9 and 15 km away and the Loire à Vélo passes by the gate. On foot, from the cottage, you can tour the cellars, walk among the vineyards, visit the Touraine aquarium, take a pony ride, watch the sunset over the Loire ...

We are in the heart of the Loire castles, a UNESCO World Heritage site, near Clos Lucé, Tours, Chaumont, Blois, not far from Villandry, Chambord, Cheverny, Loches, Langeais, Azay-le- Curtain etc.

The house is located on the Touraine Wine Route and next to the GR3. Many activities are available to you: visits to cellars and tastings, canoeing, troglodyte sites, hot air ballooning, amusement parks and park of mini-castles for children, Beauval Zoo, Futuroscope… You will find an outdoor swimming pool in the town . There are also many activities and events in the region: parties, concerts, shows ...
During your stay at this vacation home, you'll be within walking distance of Grand Aquarium of Touraine. An outdoor pool is available. Enjoy your stay with amenities like free WiFi and a kitchen in the vacation home.

Great place to unwind
The flat was very clean and comfortable and in excellent condition. Very spacious and well equipped. Perfect location to explore the Loire Castles area. The place is very quiet and relaxing.

Lovely week at Chez Lucie
With our 2 girls of 4 and 2 years old, we enjoyed a lovely week at Chez Lucie. Lucie made us feel welcome and at home immediately. During the week she responded quickly on any questions we might have. Even though the house and garden are shared, we barely noticed the presence of Lucie and her family. We had our own part of the garden on the East, with spectacular sunrises in the morning. The house was perfect for our family: enough room for our girls to play safely inside and outside. Everything was very clean and well maintained when we arrived. The kitchen was also well equiped and spacious enough for daily cooking. For us (Dutchies) the bicycles were great for trips with our girls. The Aquarium is only 5 mins cycling to the right. Especially the route to Amboise was lovely. But also in the local area cycling through the vineyards is nice. Looking back, we spent a great week at Chez Lucie and we're certainly considering returning in years to come.

Super tolle große Ferienwohnung mit großem Garten und Pool. Top ausgestattet mit allem was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Absolut ruhige Lage mit Blick über ausgedehnte Weinfelder. Wir waren überaus zufrieden. Absolut empfehlenswert für Familien.

Quelques jours passés dans ce gîte entre potes pour découverte de la région en VTT. Logement agréable, spacieux et situé au beau milieu des vignes. Très calme, à quelques kms d'Amboise et de Tours. Pour les VTT istes : pas de circuit balisé, prévoir les TOPOS au GPS.

Gîte très bien situé au milieu des vignes, près de producteurs intéressants et de nombreux lieux à visiter. L’équipement convient tout à fait pour un week-end ou une semaine entre amis. L’accueil est fort sympathique et les conseils judicieux. Le petit point négatif : une salle de bain et un seul toilette pour 9 personnes est un peu juste. Mais l’inconvenient S’oublie rapidement face aux autres points positifs.

Fantastic place to spend your vacation!
The house is perfect, it has everything we looked for: three spacious bedrooms with a huge bathroom perfectly separated with an additional door from the living room and kitchen. Two huge tables on the terraces and inside to enjoy the meals. From the terrace you can see vineyards; we watched the air-balloons go up in Amboise every evening during dinner. The garden is big, with slides and swings for the kids. So much space to play. The house is the last one in the village - thus it is as quiet and peaceful as it can be. It is also right on the paved bike track. We rented the bikes too and could explore the area better with our little kids not constantly being in the car. The location is excellent too: you have an aquarium just 5 mins away with a bike, a lot of castles in the vicinity. Amboise is just 10 minutes drive away. Lucie even made some folders with touristic booklets in the house, so that you don't miss anything. Thank you Lucie for the wonderful holidays we spent in your lovely house!
