Modern Chalet with Hot Tub and Lake Access

Spacious home with gorgeous decks and patio areas, presented by StayBettr Vacation Rentals. Shared dock access is available across the street. Indoors you will discover cathedral ceilings, fireplace, and a large eat-in kitchen and living room area your group to come together.
The entrance to the home has a ramp for accessibility, and the home has wide corridors and interior doors, so all can be included on your vacation.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms are as follows:
Main Level:
Bedroom 1: King Bed, Chest of Drawers, En Suite Bathroom
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Chest of Drawers
Bedroom 3: Two Twin Bedrs
Bedrooms 1 and 2 share a bathroom with tub on the main level.
Upper Level Loft:
Loft: Double Bed, Twin Bed, Dresser
All spaces on the upper level share a bathroom w/ a shower.
Guest Access:

You will have access to the entire home except the basement level. Additionally, during the summer you may access the lake via a dock across the street at the homeowner's lakefront property. The basement level is not accessible to guests. Guests should not park on the street or block lower level garage doors.
Support During Your Stay:

StayBettr Vacation Rentals manages this property remotely, but we have a local contact who can assist with any issues that may arise during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Swinging Bridge Reservoir is the largest largest lake in the Sullivan Catskills, and one of the few that allows motor boats. You'll feel removed from the city, but still within 20 minutes of groceries and things to do. The neighborhood is a mix of seasonal homes and year round residents. A public boat launch is nearby, and just around the corner are two full services marinas--Starlight and Swinging Bridge Marinas.
Getting Around:

I recommend having car for your stay. Taxis are available, but ride sharing services are more sparse. Rental car services are available in Monticello. Shortline Coach Bus Service provides service between New York City and Monticello as well.

Otisville and Port Jervis Metro North Stations are each approximately 30 minutes drive from the house. The trip from NY Penn Station to Otisville is about 2 hours. Train access is great if you have members of your group who need to arrive/depart at different times.
Things To Know:

You will be required to sign a rental agreement after check out. Full terms of the agreement are available on request. Additionally, you will be required to complete third-party identity verification and background checks. If you have questions about either of these requirements please message us prior to booking.
The property requires a $500 security deposit via credit card, or to pay a fee to waive the security deposit.

Up to two dogs may stay at the property. The first dog is includes in the nightly rate. The second dog incurs a $25/night fee.

No more than 5 cars allowed.
The dock is not available from early November until the lake has thawed and levels stabilize in late spring.

Idyllic weekend getaway
Escaped the city for a five star weekend. The house was fully equipped for preparing group meals, offering plenty of space to enjoy them together. StayBettr was perfectly communicative and provides a guide with everything you need to prepare for your stay. We relaxed in the hot tub and bonded over a private, virtual @journalingclasses session. Don’t forget to stop by Tilly’s diner (15min) drive away for a delicious breakfast or lunch with the most wonderful waitstaff. We hope to come back again!
