Scary location
We got there and we unloaded and inside was pretty nice except electric cords everywhere We got there at night. We went out to eat and next door there was a sign that said something about the neighborhood and it really scarred us. So noisy and scary that we got up and left and went to Prattville and stayed in a hotel. We will never recommend or stay there again. No communication either. Of course no refund. We were supposed to stay 2 nights. We should have gotten 1 night refund if they were honest people in the business.

Very Dirty
This is the dirtiest short-term rental I’ve ever seen. There was a sticky layer of dust on every surface. The baseboards have not been wiped down in years. The kitchen has a k-cup coffee maker, but there were no k-cups provided, and no indication that a regular coffee pot was not available. There was dog hair all over the unit. I could go on about how dirty it was, but I won’t. I ended up checking out early, because I couldn’t take the filth.

Alexander kept up with my several changes prior to our arrival ~ thank you very much for your patience with our travel changes! We stayed 2 nights & were very comfortable. Nice beds, good kitchen, warm shower. Ear plugs helped with traffic noise.

College Frat House Vibe
Overall, the location served its purpose for my requirements. The location reminded me a lot of my days in college living in off campus housing. While it was not in the best ideal location, all was fine and I found an awesome coffee shop two blocks away which I went to multiple times.

home decor is very lovely, the aesthetics is very unique and charming. However, I did have major concern during my stay. The home was not clean. 1. I killed a roach and a couple of bugs in the main bedroom. 2. There was a stain and dog hair on the sheets in the main bedroom. 3. There was debris on the floor all over the home. 4. There was dog hair all over the living. 5. There was dust build up all over the home. The dust and dog hair really affected my allergies. 6. The remotes and floor were sticky. 7. There was used bloody alcohol pad on a piece of furniture.

Mouse droppings everywhere, including piles under the clean wash cloths. Remnants of a bar of soap and toothpaste tube mice have eaten in the towel cabinet, large dead roach in the spare bedroom floor, THICK dust on EVERYTHING, except the main table! The apartment is antique/vintage which is acceptable. Filth is not. The apartment is very conveniently located to downtown such that it is only a 5 minute drive at rush hour, but the location doesn't seem safe. After i was given the address, just 2 days prior to arrival i see that according to online stats for Montgomery, it is in a very high crime area. The bed was very comfortable. I will not be staying here when I return over the next few weeks and months, nor will I recommend it.

A good deal
The pictures do this place no justice. The old antique feel is very cute and the beds are super comfortable. The please is a good deal overall. I would like to add little things like plastic ware ,body wash, a clothes hamper for dirty towels would’ve been nice . But for the price I can’t complain.

Never in a million years
We drove up to the place and turned around and drove away. The apartment is upstairs and the stairs on the side of the house looked very questionable. We turned around and drove away and had to get a hotel. The window air conditioners looked older than us. No thank you. First time a VRBO looked so questionable we passed. We stayed in a lovely hotel for almost the same money it cost us to not stay there.
