Fraudulent listing
Unfortunately we did not get to stay at the property as the listing was completely fraudulent. VRBO did manage to find us alternative lodging, but it took 7 hours for them to do so while we sat in our vehicle waiting for return phone calls that never came (intermittent cell service due to area-wide power outage caused by Tropical Storm Beryl, apparently causing our incoming calls to apparently go directly to voice mail). I may rate as our worst vacation experience, ever.

This was a very spacious home. We didn't spend too much time in the home as we were out doing planned activities, but it was very nice. We would stay there again if are in the area.

Fantastic Stay
We having been staying in Walden for 12 years and this is definitely our favorite place. Location is really good. We always travel with two cavalier King Charles spaniels and the fenced in yard was a plus. No leash walking!! The house is roomy and everyone could have their own space and tv. The kitchen is large and well stocked. The screened in porch was nice. We will bring a portable heater with us next time. Will be great for hanging out and playing games or just visiting. My daughter used the office to work on assignments and study for finals at night. The owners were very quick to respond with any questions. We stay in Walden each Thanksgiving holiday to do three days at the TRF. The sunken tub with jets was awesome after 8 or more hours of walking a day. Overall we were very pleased and look forward to staying again next year.

Great location!
We were staying here while our house was built nearby. The place felt like home with all the amenities you could need. And the location was fantastic! The neighborhood pool was great for the kids and even had a wonderful fireworks display on the 4th. The owner was very responsive and accommodating as well.

Needs A Lot of TLC
This was not a good experience at all. Mr. Pierson called around 2 pm on the day of our check in and asked if we could delay our arrival until 5 pm because the previous renters broke a bed and his property manager was there fixing it. That would have been fine, however, we did not even arrive until 6:30 pm and the house was a mess. The garage was a mess. The grass was high during snake season. None of the beds were made. All of the linens were on the floor. It wasn't just the one bed that was broken. Mr. Pierson was very apologetic and did offer to refund the first night and order new beds. Which was good but, also Another inconvenience as I had to wake up my sleeping guests to move furniture around. So Mr. Pierson then offered to give us a full refund. The house itself has a lot of potential. We particularly liked the screened in porch with ceiling fans but, it Definitely needs some repairs and the AC went out on our last day while we were packing everything up to go home. Mr. Pierson was very nice and did everything to try to fix the issues which is the only reason I would still recommend staying here, I think it will be a great place once everything is fixed and up to par.
