Dating from the late C17th, this romantic Grade II listed period cottage boasts loads of character and charm, with beams, oak floorboards and a four-poster bed. It's in Montgomery, which has a superbly sited castle, a few shops, pub, gallery, and even a Michelin-starred restaurant.You're about 8 miles from Welshpool and 20 miles to Shrewsbury, with excellent local walking and visitor attractions.
Size: Sleeps up to 3, 2 bedrooms; please note that there are several changes of level, steps and staircase within the cottage; the bedrooms are both open to the landing, but quite private from each other

Really sweet little cottage
We had a lovely time, sat out in the little front garden every morning to have breakfast.
Cosy cottage with bags of character. We would book again.

Montgomery is beautiful and friendly. There’s plenty to do and see. We would have no hesitation in returning and exploring more of the area.

😊Amazing cottage had everything you needed and more
It has to be the cutest cottage in the town of Montgomery. Very homely feeling. The weather was freezing but the cottage remained warm and toasty. Was lovely to use the wood burning stove. Was so well equipped we were able to invite family around to have dinner. The open plan aspect was great for socialising. Everything was near to hand and just perfect. Would definitely stay here again.
