Nice and clean hotel in an interesting and walkable part of old town. Totally worth the upgrade to get the larger suite. The open windows with the water view is really cool. Room is large, bed is large, bath is also nice and big. The only (small) thing surprisingly missing from the room is an iron. Otherwise, can't complain. Staff is very nice and helpful as well. Would totally stay here again.

I am surprised this hotel has. 4 star rating and is ranked so high. This is my first negative review ever as I tend to let go of such things. The staff barely speaks any English. It is very hard to communicate. I ran out of toilet paper one day and I tried to get one from the cleaning lady who was going to service my roo,. Instead she yelled like an unhinged person. The toilet leaked; I flagged this but it was never addressed. The front desk people are sullen and rarely wnt to talk to you especially if you are an English speaker. Breakfast is $12 and a miserable affair (a couple of pastries, cheese ham and some coffee). You can’t self serve because they yell at you. They need to serve breakfast but there’s only one person that serves the breakfast area usually so it takes a long time. Overall, a horrible experience. I have stayed at 2 star hotels in the past with superior service. STAY WAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

Our stay here was super and we enjoyed our time in Montevideo so much partly because of this hotel! The room we had (top floor, balcony) was a huge space in which we enjoyed spending our time. The drawback was the bathroom, very weak shower but that is the only issue worth noting!

A chegada foi um pouco preocupante devido a localização do hotel (um pouco erma) e o bairro ainda estava em obras dificultando um pouco a chegada. A recepção também bem simples, assim como o café da manhã bastante reduzido. Quem espera um "café da manhã de hotel", fica decepcionado. Em contrapartida, o atendimento foi bastante atencioso e caloroso e o quarto bem confortável, limpo, espaçoso e com climatização adequada (pegamos temperatura entre 1 e 8°).
