Punta Nera villa is beautifully situated on the edge of a rocky peninsula on Monte Argentario with enchanting views of Porto Santo Stefano and the Maremma hills beyond. It is perfectly located for venturing into Tuscany's Archipelago, exploring secluded beaches and frequenting local port side restaurants and bars. The villa consists of a main house with three apartments and a guest cottage. Bougainvillea flowers cascade gently in the manicured gardens, sheltered with shady umbrella pine trees and decorated with Mediterranean flowers. The air is filled with the soothing sound of waves caressing the shore beneath you.
Outside, the raised position of the villa means the sun-kissed terraces offer panoramic views. Sea lovers will want to take the steep steps cut into the rocks leading down to the stone jetty to access the sea on the port side, while on the south side steps lead down to a hidden free beach. As the sun sets across the sea, you'll no doubt appreciate the private dining areas to go al fresco. Inside, the air-conditioned apartments at Punta Nera feel like homely beach houses with sea view bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
Staying on the Tuscan coast means you are never far from a beach club and Punta Nera's location is no exception with 50km of beach clubs all with 15 minutes’ drive. If you prefer the quiet life then you'll want to head up into the mountainous terrain by foot, bike or car where you'll find spectacular, unforgettable scenery. If not, you may prefer to take a boat and head for one of the tiny islands or beaches exclusively accessed by the sea.
If you are looking for villa on Tuscany's coast, you need look no further as Punta Nera truly covers all bases.

In Porto Santo Stefano, 2km away there is a public swimming pool.
From the gardens of Punta Nera there is access to a small public stony beach. It is not well known to the public and is therefore quiet.
To one side about 20 steps lead down the cliff to a large terraced area which has a couple of sun beds. From here there are incredible, open views of the port town across the bay and to the other side the main land can be seen on clear days across the water.
There is also a second path down the cliff to the water edge. From the gardens, there are about 50 steep steps down the cliff face to the sea which surrounds the outcrop of land on which Punta Nera is located. There is some passing boat traffic so care needs to be taken in the water.
