Llandogo is a small village nestled between Monmouth and Tintern (3 miles), with an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafes to explore. Wildlife and river walks are just a moment away from the cottage; however, if you fancy something a little more challenging, then Offa’s Dyke and the Wye Valley Trail are within 8 miles of the property. For the history buffs of the group, there is a selection of castles and settlements in the area, including Chepstow, Caldicot and Raglan, all within a 16-mile radius. The River Wye is a popular hotspot for kayaking and fly fishing and can be found just 0.5 miles from the holiday home.
Head up the property’s driveaway and admire the breath-taking scenery as you enter through the front door. Discover the reverse-level layout as you find yourselves in the spacious and stylish kitchen/diner, with shaker-style units, integrated appliances and a table seating 6. There is also the option to eat and drink together in the additional dining room, which boasts incredible views across the countryside. The lounge is welcoming, especially after days of adventures. Snuggle up in front of the feature fireplace and enjoy a hot chocolate, or perch in front of the window to admire the pretty gardens. Should you need to hang up coats and store shoes, there is a guest cloakroom and plenty of storage space in the hallway.
