After we unpacked and took the grandkids for a swim, we went back to our room and proceeded to pull out the sofa bed for the kids. There were chips and candy all over the floor under it. I took a picture to the front desk to show the staff and were promptly moved to another room. Under the sofa bed in the new room, I found someone's inhaler. I strongly suggest someone do room checks before people check in.

I've stayed previously for business and pleasure, at least one night for the last 5 years, usually 3 nights. I've always had a good experience until this time. My friends and i played Skipbo card game in the lobby/breakfast area. We were not loud etc. A staff member came over while i was checking for our pizza delivery and told me we would be charged $75 if we didnt clean up after ourselves. Literally had a deck of cards on the table. It could have been said differently (nicer) and im still wondering why it was said at all. I chalked it up to lack of people skills and got past it until another staff member turned off the lights in the middle of our last game without a word! If we shouldnt be there or if there was a policy about occupying that space, maybe post it or explain it. Unlikely we'll stay there again for work or pleasure because of the rudeness. Aside from that, it is a clean hotel and safe.
