The staff in the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, especially Marcus and Alpesh. The pools were great and the natural landscape the property was set in was picturesque. The issues we had centred around the quality of the food and the transparency of the hotels all inclusive package. The food was very much hit and miss with the quality sometimes feeling like a very cheap bistro/ school cafeteria.
Finally the hotel should not be advertising and falsely using the term all inclusive when it is not in keeping with the essence of the word. You were limited to two restaurants in the evening where you could only pick two courses at dinner and one course at lunch. The drinks advertised as all inclusive were not as you were prevented from ordering drinks until the bars opened at 11am. We were upset that the hotel did not allow us to utilise the all inclusive package up until the check out time as everything was closed. Unlike a European all inclusive holiday no snacks were included and the prices in the hotel were extortionate for food and beverages. There were no local amenities near the hotel so you will be stuck having to buy from the hotel directly.
Considering the price you are paying for an all inclusive holiday it was shocking that that the five star hotel is that tight and stringent they charge for ice lollies and icecream even if you have a package.
