The good/great - the staff at Reception and breakfast were absolutely lovely, welcoming, helpful and friendly. The not so good, the TV in the room was tiny and reception so poor it was unwatchable. The hairdryer was from another era and probably should have stayed there. We were told the bar would be open until 10:30pm, but on going there for a nightcap at 10:15pm was firmly closed. Small details, but they all make a difference."

The hotel feels dated but makes up for it by really lovely staff. Everyone from check-in to the staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. We had a refurbished room which was to a very good standard. Massive room with Nespresso machine and good facilities. Dinner was good and breakfast on both days was to a high standard. If you can overlook the dated elements it's a great place to stay.
