Puerto Rico is one of the most popular resorts for families in Gran Canaria, and it is not surprising, as it is known to be the sunniest spot on the island. The attractive marina has a respected sailing center. There is a wide variety of water sports offered from the beach, including water motorcycling, sailing, diving, sport fishing and windsurfing. You can also take a trip exploring the rest of the coast, go on a trip to see the dolphins or enjoy a trip on a glass bottom boat.
The beach is close to the house and in the area you can find golf courses, an amusement park for children and a shopping center. The climate of Gran Canaria, as in the rest of the islands, is mild, you can enjoy wonderful temperatures throughout the year. In summer you can enjoy an average temperature between 26-28C; in winter, temperatures do not fall below 22C, a destination with a perfect climate throughout the year.
