Newly renovated separate units and renting this listing will give you full access to the house in separate units. This allows for 12 to sleep in set up beds, 10 more in sofa/futon beds, and we have 2 cots available for a total of 24! In the heart of the historic district and close to the convention center, King George is Ideal for weddings and large conference groups!

We're just a short 3-4 block walk to the Mardi Gras parade route. Plus, you can enjoy the beautiful Mobile weather from the southern front porch, complete with a fire table and outdoor seating.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire place. Parking on the premises is currently limited 4 off street parking spots in the back - but street parking is completely legal.

For your convenience and safety, access to the unit is provided via a smart lock. Exterior cameras are also installed on the premises for the safety of our guests and to protect our property. We want you to have a worry-free stay while enjoying all that Mobile has to offer. Come and experience the comfort and security of our top floor apartment!

Our property is nestled in the heart of the picturesque and historic Oakleigh District, known for its beautifully preserved homes and rich cultural heritage. Our charming street is one of the most sought-after in Mobile, boasting stunning architecture and a vibrant community. From here, you'll have easy access to the area's top attractions, including Washington Square Park, the Oakleigh House Museum, and the bustling downtown district. Stroll through the tree-lined streets and soak up the ambiance of this unique and captivating neighborhood. You'll quickly discover why our location is the perfect starting point for exploring all that Mobile has to offer.
We have also hosted multiple wedding parties and they've found its a great space to enjoy before the big day!

Welcome to our spacious and charming home in Mobile, located within walking distance of many historic attractions. You'll love the newly updated kitchen and bathrooms, complete with stylish and modern flooring throughout. Built in 1905, this home still exudes its original character and charm.

Our location can't be beaten, with downtown just minutes away (and easy to get to with rental electric scooters), and the Mobile tunnel close by for a quick drive to Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Pensacola, and Dauphin Island.

Getting Around:
Our neighborhood is very walkable, and you'll find it easy to explore the charming historic homes and nearby attractions on foot. For those who prefer to ride, Uber and other ride-sharing services are readily available and offer a convenient way to get around town. There is even a golf cart service provided (see the laminated sheets on each fridge) so you can get around to the neighborhood restaurants and bars. We have parking available for 4 cars on the property, and street parking is also widely available and acceptable. We do kindly ask that you respect our neighbors and refrain from parking in front of their homes, particularly the Yellow House next door, as they rely on street parking for their vehicles.

From here, you'll be just minutes away from a plethora of local attractions like Washington Square Park, the Oakleigh House Museum, the bustling downtown district, great restaurants and bars (The Ice Box and Callaghan's Irish Pub) or if you're interested in a fancier dinner, try Hummingbird Way Oyster bar!

We're just a few blocks from the parade route during Mardi Gras Season. A short 45-1 hour drive to multiple beaches (Orange Beach, Pensacola, Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, and Dauphin Island) and a 30-45 min drive to Fairhope!
