Property itself was in decent shape. Breakfast was average - most hotel breakfasts these days don't seem to offer much. We couldn't figure out why a hotel would supply shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower, but left us no hand soap to use when washing our hands. Most people travel with shampoo, etc but who carries their own handsoap!?

Be prepared for an exorbitant pet fee of $75. It was more money than the room.1st room door would not open, had to redo things and get a different room. Rooms are nice but some of the common areas are getting a little tired.

Our initial room had not been cleaned, and replacement room has a spotlight shining in. I guess I like my room dark, and the light came right in. Will not stop me from staying here, just to bring to someone's attention.

Not as sparkling as I would like.
This is the second time I have stayed at this Sonesta in 3 months. I was disappointed that the water fountains have not been fixed since August, the dining room still needs a deep cleaning (the upholstery on the chairs is very dirty) and the hallway carpets still have not been shampooed. My door did not shut without slamming it. The cleaning maintenance does not seem to be occurring regularly. The staff in August was very helpful - and it appears there have been some new capable staff hired since August. I hope the next few hires are backed with money for some of the regular maintenance that needs tended to. Having said all of that The room was very comfortable and as long as no one wants to visit me in my room - I would probably stay here again.

The beds and pillows are due to be replaced. Our group had 3 rooms in total and all of us had the same opinion. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean.

Rented one of the suites thinking it would make the stay more enjoyable, first suite toilet didn't work and door wouldn't close , second suite incredibly dirty despite hotel being slow. Next day no room service and getting clean towels and toilet paper was a hassle and huge inconvenience for staff at the desk such a good location but such poor service all around
