Great hotel near MOA
ALL of the staff were AMAZING!!! We had a wonderful time. Hotel was clean, great breakfast, close to MOA. Beds were very comfy.

The property didn’t communicate before booking that you have to pay daily to park overnight and they also didn’t communicate that you have to re register your key cards daily before 11am

This was not the stay I had planned.
Pros: cleanliness, friendly staff. Con: you do have to pay for parking that I was not aware of which was $10/day. Their WiFi sucks! Had to go talk to the front desk who provided me with an access code, but still didn’t work. Other hotels made it so much easier to log onto their WiFi. The alarm in our room kept waking us up at 6 am. Probably from the previous guest. This was not the stay I had planned. I will not be staying here again.

A great hotel
This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at recently. Very clean. Comfortable beds. The breakfast bar was well stocked, clean, good pancakes, waffles, omelette, yogurt bar etc. The staff was friendly. Easy location to walk to Mall of America.

Unreal that you have to pay $10 per night to park when paying $165 a night to stay at the property. Doesn’t say it anywhere on the website when booking. There apparently is a sign at the check in desk and in the elevator, but nobody at the front desk tells you that when you check in. Kind of sneaky in my opinion.

I didn’t like the bugs squished all over the lobby when I walked in. But room was clean. They did switch me rooms with ease when I asked them about the TV not working. I loved the large games in the lobby. Fun for the kids. Will stay again!

a meet up spot close to the airport
I was in town to go "troll hunting" for the Thomas Dambo trolls and had a couple friends from around the US meet me in Minneapolis. TRU was an excellent spot and was super accommodating with our different arrival times. Parking was plentiful, staff was kind, and the place was nice and clean. Breakfast was nice (omelets, pancakes, boiled eggs, sandwiches,, muffins, bagels, fruit, juice coffee etc. Good value and it was a perfect spot for us to meet up before heading to Detroit Lakes MN and DO Fargo, ND.
