Didn't get the room we booked and paid for!!!
We booked two rooms for our stay, 2 deluxe with king beds. Check in went smoothly. My husband and I had a great room, definitely deluxe. Our daughter and fiance were amazed at our room, just saying theirs was smaller. We didn't see their room until the following morning. NOT a deluxe room, NOT a king bed and about half the size of our room. They also had an issue with the air conditioning and the hotels solution was to give them a fan. Said they couldn't be moved as they were full. Absolutely not the room we booked and paid for! And, the breakfast they offered was pitiful. NO coffee when we got there. Not much in the line of fresh goods. The morning hotel clerk was not very friendly and appeared to be also in charge of keeping the breakfast area stocked. Guests were left waiting a long time to check out. We decided to just leave our room keys and leave. I really wanted to complain about the wrong room our daughter had but figured it would fall on deaf ears.

Ordered wine that never came. Bathroom was clean but the towels were limited, not even hand towels. I haven’t stayed here in 10 years and I likely won’t again, unfortunately.

The hotel online seemed quite cool and buzzing, and while there were really nice touches (the furniture in the reception was nice, for instance), I was a bit disappointed by the overall quality. Unfortunately like many hotels at the moment, there was a really large area that I guess was a restaurant at some point that was just empty/unused and had quite a deserted vibe. Breakfast (in the silent "restaurant" area) was a "grab and go" style, but on my first morning there was no milk that any staff could find, so the many cereals weren't an option. There were muffins and sausage/egg sandwich things that could be microwaved that were fine. Often there were no staff at the front desk (though they were perfectly pleasant and helpful when they were there), and the phone in the room didn't work at all to call down to reception when I needed to tell them the TV didn't work - when I wandered down to reception to tell them that, it turned out there was basically no one else working at that point (I think it was 6pm) so nothing could be done about it. My colleague also had a comfortable chair in their room, but I didn't, and things that the website implies are available aren't always there ("Minibar stocked with local specialties" was an empty fridge, the bath product supplied didn't include shower gel). While they're all fairly minor points it did just mean that what was a fairly expensive hotel was missing the mark on quite a few things.

The room was great! There was a free "grab and go" breakfast, which was a nice surprise. The area is quite noisy, with a club right across the street, so weekend sleeping was a little difficult, even with the white noise machine provided.

Cute and quiet. Safe beeped all the time and worker was to come take it out of the room but never did. Phone didn't work. AC was great and the shower was beautiful with abundant hot water.
