The clerk asked if I was who I am, didn’t ask for ID, and just handed me a key when I confirmed my name. The keys are awkward and needed to be inserted a specific way and I was not told that. While trying to use the key unsuccessfully, the same clerk ran up to me and scolded me for not using it right because she “told me how to use it, just do it correctly.”
The room was just dirty and outdated, too. It was cheap and near a handful of nice parks, so those are pluses. The air conditioner barely blew cold air but was incredibly loud and varied between a series of loud patterns that kept me up most of the night. The Chaska area is a nice enough that this place is worth considering again, but the hotel itself could use a lot of work.
