We arrived to our room having been cancelled as a no show despite having notified the hotel of a change in plans to arrive on a different date (still within the reservation and paid for). The hotel staff was in no way sympathetic or helpful despite the error being with the hotel. The attitude was that there was nothing that could be done and it was our problem to solve.

They were remodeling rooms on the floor above us which wasn’t a problem. The problem they would start between 06:15 and 06:30 every morning. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they stated that they didn’t start construction until 08:00. This occurred all four days we stayed there. In the morning of our third day, I requested to have my room refreshed. The lady at the front desk acted offended that I made such a request and stated that they don’t do that anymore. After a few minutes of insisting, they agreed and completed the refresh later that day. This will be the last time I stay at this hotel.
