Sitting less than a 5-minute drive or 15-minute walk from Minehead Beach, this stylish apartment for six offers an ideal seaside getaway for families or friends. Explore this scenic slice of the West Somerset coast, with Exmoor National Park right on the doorstep.
Located on the first floor (accessed via a set of stairs), you can expect plenty of light and pretty views over the hills and distant sea. Soak it up from the comfort of your bed with a cup of morning coffee or out in your shared garden with a book in hand. Inside, the decor is crisp whites and nautical nods to the home’s surroundings. When the evenings draw in, snuggle into the sofas with a film on the Smart TV. Next door, a well-sized kitchen has everything you need and more to cook up delicious meals (make sure to pick up the day’s local catch!)
Dating back to the 1800s, the apartment still retains many of its original features. In the bedrooms, find exposed wooden floorboards and decorative Edwardian fireplaces. These are perfectly paired with antique furniture and cool coastal hues. There are three bedrooms in total: two doubles and a twin room (with the option of a double futon). All share a family bathroom with a separate shower unit and bath.

The Neighborhood:
The apartment is located centrally in Minehead, a charming seaside town in West Somerset The local beach is a 5-minute drive or 15-minute walk, and many of the local amenities are on the doorstep. Enjoy walks up on North Hill and along the coastal path to Porlock. Take dips at the beach, head off on mountain biking trails in the hills and find some good grub at the local pub. The local steam train is also only 10 minutes walk.
The historic village of Dunster is only 5-minute drive; named the prettiest medieval village in Exmoor there is so much to explore. Getting Around:
The apartment is located a 15-minute walk to Minehead Beach and the local amenities so you won't need to use your car during the stay. The apartment is very close to local bus routes too. That said, you may wish to have a vehicle to visit the surrounding areas and there is free parking on the drive for one vehicle. There is also free street parking in the surrounding area, which may be more suitable for larger vehicles.
Other Things to Note:
Dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms and not left in the property unattended. Please note CCTV has been added to the driveway.
