I frequently stay at hotels in Milwaukee during the week, so I was excited to discover this property, which felt more like an apartment than a typical hotel. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite meet my expectations.
First, I found the lack of nearby parking inconvenient, forcing me to walk half a mile to the apartment. While the interior of the space was decent, the building itself felt old and dim, and I had to navigate several flights of stairs to reach my unit.
Upon arrival, I was relieved to find the door unlocked. However, I encountered issues with the check-in process. Despite arriving after my scheduled check-in time, I received a message stating it was too early to check in. I attempted to reach out to the property through Expedia but never received a response. I also called and left a message, but there was still no reply. The next morning, I checked my message on Expedia again, and there was still no response, nor did I find any voicemails.
I tried clicking the button in my confirmation message for check-in details, but I still received the same message about it being too early to check in. Needless to say, I was very disappointed.
To add to my frustration, I unexpectedly received a text message from the property asking me for my credit card information to cover a cleaning fee I wasn’t aware of. It was surprising to receive a message about an additional charge but still have no information regarding my check-in.
