The neighborhood around the hotel felt unsafe with several homeless people coming up right next to the doors. The room next to us was playing incredibly loud music at 1 am, and instead of going up and telling them to stop the front desk guy just called up and said our room number was saying they were being too loud. This made us feel unsafe, so we switched to a different room. Both rooms had no soap in the bathrooms and beds so squeaky if you moved the noise was likely to wake you up. Additionally, the entire place reeks of weed and the breakfast selection was terrible. For what it’s worth though, when we complained to management they were helpful and refunded the difference between the two rooms.

It was a good stay, we went to a concert downtown and they offered shuttle service, that was great, it was a bit of a walk otherwise and the breakfast offered several options, this was my second time staying there and i will return for sure

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. My neighbors did have music and/or tv on the whole night which made going to sleep challenging. Also, they didn't have free wi-fi which was fine as it allowed me to disconnect from late night work on my computer after a long day at a conference. There is sometimes a whiff of weed outside, in the lobby, and sometimes in the hallway. Other than that, you can't beat the price, friendly staff, free breakfast, and free parking lot next to the hotel. They also have shuttle service within a 2 mile radius which I didn't use. Neighborhood seemed safe enough for Milwaukee. Recommend if you need a low cost and clean place to sleep for the night.

They only had a coffee option because they were out of juice , didn't tell us that the fridge was turned up all the way to a freezer ,tv wasn't working at first . Only nice person was the young man at the front desk and the 2nd shift or 3rd shift security guard .

Had a quick day trip to Milwaukee,& needed a place to stay with friends that won’t break the bank. Plenty of space for 4 adults to move around in. Mini fridge & microwave in room. Continental breakfast in the morning. Comfortable king size beds for all.

Cheaper option that's not too bad
This place is fine for a cheap option. It is within a mile and a half of downtown, provides parking for free (which saves you a bunch vs downtown), provides free breakfast, (just don't expect much), and has decent rooms. Do accept that for that price you are going to get other guests who also like THAT price. (i.e. partiers) so it may be noisy at night. Personally though it wasn't bad for me and I would recommend it if you are looking to stay on the cheaper side of things yet still be near downtown.

Our room didn’t have hand soap. We asked the front desk twice for hand soap. The front desk person disappeared into the back room to look for soap and never came back. Hotel looks dirty and has a weird smell to it.
